Conservative dentistry is the branch of dentistry which deals with the treatment of caries, malformed, discolored, nonesthetic or fractured teeth and endodontics deals with the treatment of pulpal and periapical diseases and dental pain management. It also involves performing root canal treatment and associated surgical procedures to rid the tooth of its offending malady.

The phantom lab with simulators introduces the student to various treatment modalities before they start working on patients from 3rd year onwards. The department lays strong emphasis on discipline and attendance right from the pre clinics to strive towards all round development of the student.
